Gurgaon Half Marathon is a charity event schedule on 1st of September 2013. So come and run with us, Run for Uttarakhand.
Gurgaon Half Marathon

Gurgaon Half marathon is an initiative taken by Broncos Support Services (BSS). Gurgaon Half Marathon is inspired by intention to help those who suffered in Uttarakhand tragedy. Purpose of this Marathon is to associate people with this Noble Cause, one may also call it a Marathon by people for people!

The scheduled date for Gurgaon Half Marathon 2013 is 1st Sep 2013, which also happens to be a Sunday. Location has been chosen in a way that it suits both who travel in public transport as well as those who travel in their own vehicle. The parking space has been kept free and can accommodate more than 5000 cars at a time. The track also has been picked in a way that it is at a waking distance from the Metro station and NH, so if one want to travel through public transport one can easily reach for Marathon on time.

The first Marathon will start at 7:00 in the morning, and the length of the marathon is will be 6 Km for the Adults above 14 year of Age, for Senior Citizen, Children’s and Specially enabled participants it would be 3 Km. As it’s a mass participation their will be adequate arrangements for security and medical staff. The event will be have prize for the winners and 1st runner-ups which and for the participants a certificate will be issued which can be collected at the end of the Half Marathon.

As stated in the beginning it’s a charity event, and money raised through the event will be donated for rehabilitation of Uttarakhand. In order to raise money an entry fee of INR 700/- has been kept which will be uniform across all categories. Also a kit will be provided which would include item which will promote the awareness about Uttarakhand. Many known faces are also expected to be present on the day of Half Marathon which would encourage for more participation. We would like to end with our slogan “Run for a Cause! Run for Uttarakhand!”
